We do not provide mitigation, emergency cleanup, or restoration services.

2. PROJECT SCOPE

All work performed is based on:

• Agreed project scope
• Approved insurance scope (if applicable)

Any changes to scope must be reviewed and approved before additional work is performed.

3. ESTIMATES & PRICING

Project estimates are based on:

• Visible conditions at time of assessment
• Known structural requirements

Final costs may vary due to:

• Hidden damage discovered during reconstruction
• Changes in material or labor requirements
• Scope adjustments

All pricing adjustments will be communicated before proceeding.

4. INSURANCE RECONSTRUCTION

When reconstruction is part of an insurance claim:

• Work must align with the approved scope of loss
• Additional work outside the approved scope may require separate approval

We do not guarantee insurance coverage or claim approval.

5. PROJECT TIMELINES

Project timelines are estimates and may vary due to:

• Structural complexity
• Material availability
• Weather conditions (Maine & New Hampshire)
• Scope changes

Delays may occur when conditions change during reconstruction.

6. SITE CONDITIONS

The property must be:

• Cleared of mitigation activities
• Structurally ready for reconstruction

We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing structural issues not visible during initial evaluation
• Conditions caused by incomplete mitigation

7. WARRANTIES

We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty on completed reconstruction work.

This warranty covers:

• Workmanship defects

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by external factors
• Issues unrelated to reconstruction work

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Octagon Construction & Energy is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Delays caused by third parties (including insurance providers)
• Pre-existing structural issues not identified during assessment

9. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment terms are defined in the project agreement and may include:

• Deposits
• Progress payments
• Final payment upon completion

Failure to meet payment terms may result in project delays or suspension.
